Oregon Coast

We went to the Oregon coast over the weekend. This was Ryan's first time on the beach. I couldn't keep him out of the water, so I rolled up his pants and took off his shoes and socks. The water was cold. He did not mind the cold until he fell in it and got completely soaked.

Last things we did in Utah

We decided to do a few things in Utah one last time before we moved to Oregon. We went to Temple Square. We are standing in front of the Christus.

We went to Thanksgiving Point with Richard, Tami and family. The gardens are beautiful.

We also visited Wheeler Farm for the last time. Katelyn and Ryan are feeding a goose.

We will miss Utah. We really enjoyed living in Utah. We are ready for new adventures in Oregon.

Easter 2009

Katelyn enjoyed dying eggs for Easter.
Ryan colored eggs with crayons. I turned around to grab something off the counter and then I heard a crunch. Ryan had taken a bite of the egg, shell and all. Adam and I laughed.
I took the shell off the egg for Ryan to eat. He loves eggs.

Katelyn and Ryan are all dressed up for church on Sunday. It is hard to see their outfits, but they were very cute. It is very hard to take a picture with both of them together these days.

How thankful I am for my Savior Jesus Christ on this Easter. Through the many trials that have occurred in the last month, I could not do it without the help of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am thankful for the many prayers that continue to go out on our behalf. We need them. I am thankful for the love and support of all my family. It is hard to express in words how thankful I am for these things.

Playing at Parks

There was one really nice week in March where the weather was beautiful every day. We took the kids to play at many different parks. Here Adam and Katelyn are flying a kite.

Ryan knows just what to do on a slide. He climbs up the stairs by himself, turns around, and slides down. He LOVES it.

Ryan looks so cute in his hat. It is hard to find a hat that fits his big head. He likes to wear hats now. He brings me his hat and says "hat."
When Ryan climbs he sticks out his tongue. It's so funny.

We babysat Emily, Carsten, Caden, and Corbin one night. I tried to take a picture of everyone for Grammy. This is the best I could get. Cute kids!
Katelyn likes to help take the laundry out of the washer and put it in the dryer. She almost fell in here when I took this picture.
We have had many spring snow storms. I took Katelyn out to play in the snow. She made our family in snowmen. She did a great job. I only helped a little bit. We decided we liked to play in the snow in the spring because it isn't so bitterly cold.
Ryan loves to color now. He is always asking to color. He calls is "co,co" for color. This picture was taken the day after he got home from being in the hospital for RSV. He has lost weight. He is pretty skinny now. All his rolls are gone. Anyway, Ryan is doing much better now.

Ryan loves to watch Daddy play video games. Adam gives him an X Box controller and he thinks he is playing.
Katelyn is learning how to use the computer. She likes to play games on playhousedisney.com. She knows how to use the mouse and the arrows on the keyboard. She follows the directions on the games and does great.
Katelyn has started to draw people the last few months. This is suppose to be me. Notice the hair and eyelashes.
