Vacation

We went on a road trip to Minnesota. Along the way we did some sight seeing. We stopped at Martin's Cove in Wyoming. This was apart of the Mormon trail.
We are standing in front of this statue of men carrying people across the river. There are many amazing stories told of the pioneers.
Our next stop was in South Dakota at Mount Rushmore. It is beautiful. It is amazing to think that this was carved. The details are incredible. You can even see the pupils in their eyes.

While we were in Minnesota, we went to the Mall of America which is the largest mall. It is huge!! In the middle of the mall is an amusement park. Katelyn got to meet SpongeBob Squarepants and Patrick. She was in heaven. She loved every minute of meeting them. She even cried when she had to say good bye.
She is so excited to go on this ride. It went up and down and up and down.
She is driving a truck on this ride. She climbed in and out of many trucks trying to decide which one to ride.

The reason we went to Minnesota was for Adam's best friend Jason wedding. Adam was the Best Man. He is giving his Best Man speech and toast. He received many laughs, oohs and aahs. He did a great job.
Katelyn loved dancing at the reception or should I say jumping. She danced and loved every minute of it.

Katelyn wanted to be apart of the bouquet toss. She didn't catch the bouquet but she got some flower petals that fell on the floor. She carried the petals around with her the rest of the night and slept with them too.

After returning to Salt Lake we went to Temple Square to see the new Joseph Smith movie. I took a picture of Ryan in front of the Temple.

We had a great time on vacation. We went to many new places and saw many new things, and spent many hours in the car. Thank you Paul and Sally for taking us!!
