Happy Valentine's Day

I love my children. They are the best! I enjoy them so much. We have lots of fun together.
I decided to take a picture of Ryan and myself together. I don't have any of the two of us.

We all enjoyed decorating sugar cookies for Valentine's Day. Katelyn loved shaking on the sprinkles. Adam even decorated cookies with us. It was fun.
Katelyn loved making Valentine's to send to her grandparents. She also made one for our friend Jon. She delivered cookies and a Valentine to him.
Ryan learned to roll over. He rolls both ways now. He is so proud of himself. He worked really hard to figure it out. He loves his new found abilities. He also reaches for toys now.

Katelyn's Projects

I try to do a project with Katelyn every day. She loves to make Cheerio or Apple Jack necklaces. She is getting really fast at stringing the cereal on. The other day, she made a necklace before we went grocery shopping. She wore her necklace with pride at the store. She received many compliments from people in the store.

Katelyn used glitter glue to decorate snowflakes. After squeezing the glue on she used her finger to spread the glitter glue around. They turned out beautiful and are now hanging on the window in the dining room. She loves looking at her snowflakes every day and says, "I made these all by myself."

Happy Ryan

Ryan always wakes up so happy from his nap. I decided to take a picture of him one day. I just love going to pick him up and being greeted with such a great smile! This other picture is of Ryan having tummy time.

Ryan Sittting

Ryan is trying to sit up. He is always leaning forward when we hold him. He is propped up in the boppy.

Ryan in the Jumperoo

Ryan loves being in the jumperoo. We decided to try putting him in it because he wants to sit up so badly and he already likes to jump. He gets so excited every time.

Snow Day

Katelyn and I loved playing in the snow together.

Katelyn had fun making snow angels.

Katelyn tried throwing snowballs at me, but it did not work. The snow was too soft. We had fun anyway.

After playing outside for only a few minutes in the 15 degree weather, we came in and enjoyed some delicious hot chocolate with marshmallows. Katelyn thought it was great to drink out of a big mug.

Ryan is growing so fast. At his two month check up he was 13 lbs. 8 oz. and 24 in. long. I know he is bigger than that now. Nobody believes me when I tell them how old he is. He looks like he is about 5 or 6 months old. I go to put clothes on him and realize he has out grown many things before he even gets a chance to wear them. I thought this hat was so cute on him, even though it was too small. Ryan humored me for a few minutes and let me take a picture of him before he started fussing. He is not a fan of hats. He is such a happy baby. He smiles and the time. He is laughing now. We all just love it!!!
