A Day at the Park

We went to a park near our apartment to play and have a picnic. There are some really cool trees, so of course, I had to take pictures. Katelyn is trying to climb the tree.
I took a chance sitting Ryan here. He sat there long enough for me to snap this picture before trying to crawl away.
I like this picture of the two of them, but it turned out a little blurry.
Katelyn calls this slide the "wiggley slide".
Ryan hanging out on the blanket for our picnic.
I love this picture of Ryan. He is such a happy boy. He is clapping his hands. You can see his two bottom teeth.
We are eating a yummy picnic lunch that Katelyn help make.

Aquarium

I took Katelyn and Ryan to the Living Planet Aquarium. We had a great time. Katelyn loved everything. She asked what everything was. She loved pretending to drive the boat.
Katelyn enjoyed looking at the jelly fish. She said she wanted to have a net and go "jellyfishing" like Spongebob Squarepants. She watched the jelly fish for a long time.
She said that this was huge starfish and wanted to take it home.
She is looking at little sea horses. She said they were cute and little.
There was lot of colorful fish in this tank.
Katelyn loved watching the sting rays.
She decided to touch the sting ray. She loved it. We spent a lot of time here.
Here she is touching pencil urchins. She said they were pokey.
Now Katelyn is touching sea cucumbers. She tried to pick it up. Oops.
Here she is touching a starfish.
The aquarium has a little cove for the kids to play in. Katelyn is hiding in a cave.
Now she is jumping . Weeeee.

Here is a leopard shark zooming past.

March trip to Portland

Katelyn loved playing fire fighter at Grandma and Grandpa Hayball's house.
Ryan and Logan are about 6 weeks apart. They played on the floor next to each other. Cute boys!
Too bad these are the only pictures I have from our vacation. The camera wasn't working very well at the time. We enjoyed spending time with family.

Sister and Brother

Katelyn and Ryan love each other. They are very cute together. Ryan loves to watch Katelyn and she zooms around him. Katelyn loves to entertain him. It is so fun to watch their relationship grow.
Now that Ryan is getting older, Katelyn loves to play with him. She can be a little rough sometimes, but for the most part, they play well together. Good thing Ryan is a rough and tumble boy. He just loves it when Katelyn plays with him. He laughs and laughs. In this picture, Katelyn put the laundry hamper over the top of their heads.

Busy Katelyn

Katelyn is a busy girl as you all know. She is growing and maturing quickly. She is learning so many big words. Her latest is distinguished. She was watching me get ready one morning and I asked her how I looked. She said, "Mommy, you look distinguished." She amazes me every day with what she knows.

Katelyn loves doing projects. I traced her body and she colored it. She did a great job. She drew eyes, nose and a mouth.
Katelyn decided to try on Adam's sweats. She is so silly!
Katelyn watches me feed Ryan every day and wanted to feed her baby. She found a bowl and spoon and fed her baby. She is quite the little mother.
Here is another one of Katelyn's projects. We collected rocks on a walk. She then glued them to this card board. When is was dry, she colored it. The finished project looks really cool.

Ryan's Milestones

Ryan is growing too fast!! He is now 7 months old. He weighs over 20 lbs. now. He is the happiest baby. He is on the move now. He rolls, army crawls and crawls. He does whatever he needs to, to get where he wants to go. He sits all by himself. He enjoys eating solid foods. He has tried rice cereal, squash, sweet potatoes, bananas, applesauce, and pears. He likes it all. He shakes his head no when he doesn't want any more. He has two teeth on the bottom already.
